Joseph Wayne Hochstetler

Joseph Wayne Hochstetler age 55 of Polk passed away at his residence on February 11, 2026 following a brief illness.

Born in Nurenberg, Germany on June 15, 1970 the son of John and Julia Ann (Utsinger) Hochstetler.

Joseph was a resident of Ashland County most of his life. He was employed as a transport driver for local Amish families. In his free time he enjoyed working on his dune buggy and his cars. He was a graduate of Ashland High School.

Surviving are his mother, Julia Ann Hochstetler of Polk and brother, Rick Hochstetler of Polk. Also surviving are two nephews: Taylor James Hochstetler and Richard Mark Allen Zellner.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, John Hochstetler

A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Wednesday February 18, 2026 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home.
